Share live location through Facebook Messenger on Android
1. Open a Facebook Messenger conversation with the person you want to send your location to, and tap the 4-dot icon next to the camera icon.
2. Then choose the Location option.
3. Your current location highlighted on the map will open, and you must click on the button Start sharing your location in real time.
Your location will begin to be shared with the person(s) you sent it to, with a default duration of one hour. The app displays a timer telling you how long your location will continue to be shared, but you can stop sharing at any time:
In the message sent from your location, tap the View Location button.
Then click on the Stop sharing location in real-time button.
How to Send your live location from Messenger on iPhone?
Open the person’s Messenger chat on your iOS device, tap the location icon next to the camera icon, then tap Start real-time location sharing.
Your live location will be sent to the person or people you selected, and will be available for 1 hour. If you want to stop sharing sooner, tap View location in the location’s sent message.
Then, tap on the Stop sharing location option.
